TERMS & CONDITIONS

Parental/Guardian Supervision:

The client acknowledges and agrees that parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their

children at all times during the event. While Enchanted Wings Entertainment will provide

entertainment and activities, the safety and wellbeing of the children are the responsibility of the

parents/guardians present at the event.

The Business and its contractors are not responsible for any incidents or injuries that occur as a

result of lack of parental/guardian supervision. Parents/guardians must ensure that children are appropriately managed during physical activities, games, and other entertainment provided by the business and its contractors.

Liability:

All our performers are covered by public liability insurance, which solely applies to the performer and not to any other attendees at the client's event. Enchanted Wings Entertainment is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during the event. All performers hold a valid Working With Children’s Check. 

Character Origin:

The client acknowledges that the characters provided are based on generic, public-domain fairytales and are not intended to infringe on any copyrights.

Image Use:

If the client shares event photographs with the Business, the Business is granted permission to use them for promotional purposes across various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing materials, without compensation to the client.

Performer's Safety:

The client is responsible for the safety of the guests, the Business, and its contractors during the event. The Business reserves the right to remove itself and its contractors from the event should their safety be compromised.

Differences Between Performers:

The client acknowledges that there may be variations in performance between individual performers, such as differences in character portrayal, delivery, and style. Each performer brings their own unique flair to the character, while still adhering to the company’s standards and character guidelines.

Enchanted Wings Entertainment ensures that all performers receive the same high-quality training in character portrayal, performance skills, and safety protocols. Every entertainer is thoroughly trained to provide the best possible experience, regardless of the specific performer assigned to the event. While the style and delivery may differ slightly, the Business is committed to ensuring that every event is filled with magic, fun, and professionalism.

Notification of other business operations:

As the Business operates independently of other character entertainment companies, the client agrees to notify the Business in advance of any other character entertainment company that will be attending the event.

Arrival and Departure:

To help us preserve the magic, we kindly ask that children do not see our performer arriving or leaving the venue, especially by car. Please ensure there is suitable parking available close by.

Deposit, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable and that injuries, illness, or unforeseen circumstances may arise. While we always do our best to accommodate changes, please be advised that our services are high in demand and so we must also respect our performers’ time and ensure that other families have the opportunity to enjoy our services.

  • Cancellations Within 7 Days of the Event

    If your booking is cancelled within seven (7) days of your event date, the full booking fee will be retained to cover performer preparation and scheduling costs.

  • Cancellations With More Than 7 Days’ Notice

    If your booking is cancelled more than seven (7) days before the scheduled event date:

    • The 50% deposit will be forfeited.

    • Any additional payments made (beyond the deposit) will be refunded.

  • Rescheduling With More Than 7 Days’ Notice

    If you need to reschedule your booking more than seven (7) days before your event:

    • The full payment (deposit and remaining balance) must be paid immediately in order to secure the rescheduled date, subject to performer and date availability.

    • No additional rescheduling fee will apply.

    • Only one reschedule per booking is permitted.

  • Weather-Related or Emergency Cancellations

    We understand that outdoor events and emergencies can sometimes disrupt your plans. If severe weather or an emergency makes it unsafe or impossible to proceed with the booking, we will gladly work with you to reschedule your event at no additional charge. The rescheduled event must take place within one (1) year of the original booking date.

    If you choose not to reschedule, the 50% deposit (and any non-refundable costs already incurred such as external / third-party add-ons) will be retained.

    We truly appreciate your understanding as we balance flexibility for our clients with respect for our performers’ time, effort, and commitment to their role.

Payment Terms:

The client agrees to pay the Business the total amount for the selected package and services, as broken down below:

  • Non-refundable Deposit: 50%

  • Remaining Amount: To be determined based on the selected package and services.

  • Travel Costs: Quoted on invoice.

Payment must be completed one week before the event date for the character to attend, unless

otherwise agreed upon in advance
