Private Party FAQs
Booking & Reservations

To secure your booking, fill in our enquiry form and select your preferred date/time, character and party package. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email and have 7 days to confirm your details and pay the deposit.
A50% deposit is required to secure your reservation.
A 15% surcharge applies to public holiday bookings.

We recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance for private parties. However, the earlier you book, the better your chances of securing your preferred date, time, and character, helping avoid disappointment on popular days and times.

We recommend having your performer arrive about 30 minutes after guests arrive so children are settled and ready to enjoy the entertainment.

We proudly service all areas across Melbourne. Regional and interstate bookings may be possible, though additional travel and accommodation fees may apply.
Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that injuries, illness, or unexpected circumstances can occur. While we try to accommodate changes where possible, our services are in high demand and we must respect our performers’ time.
Cancellations within 7 days of the event
The full booking fee will be retained.Cancellations with more than 7 days’ notice
The 50% deposit will be forfeited
Any additional payments will be refunded
Rescheduling with more than 7 days’ notice
Full payment must be made to secure the new date
Subject to performer availability
Only one reschedule per booking is permitted
Weather or emergencies
If severe weather or an emergency prevents the event from proceeding, we will work with you to reschedule within one year of the original booking date.
If you choose not to reschedule, the 50% deposit will be retained.
Payments

We accept:

Your booking is secured once the deposit is received. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before your party date.
We do not accept cash payments.
Party Setup & On the Day

We require a space large enough for all children to sit or stand in a circle so they can comfortably participate in games and activities.
To help the party run smoothly, we ask that surrounding guests keep noise levels low during the entertainment so the performer can give instructions clearly.
Please note: For performer wellbeing, events where temperatures are above 32°C or below 15°C must be held indoors with adequate heating or cooling. Outdoor events must include a shaded activity area.

Yes. At least one responsible adult must be present for the duration of the party.
While our performers engage and entertain the children, supervision and duty of care remain the responsibility of the host. Any damage to performer costumes caused by a child may result in applicable charges.
Party Planning

We recommend cutting the cake in the final 10–15 minutes of the party so the character can join for the Happy Birthday song, photos, and a magical farewell.
For longer bookings, serving food during glitter activities works well as these are done one child at a time, allowing children to stay engaged with the character while others enjoy their food.
Face Painting & Glitter

Some packages include glitter activities as part of the entertainment experience.
A face painter can also be added to any package if desired. We can advise on the best way to include face painting or glitter to suit the number of children and timing of your party.

Typically, we can paint 10–12 children per hour with detailed designs. Larger parties may require simplified designs or additional painters.

Face painting is recommended for children aged 3 and over.

Yes, we use professional, skin-safe, hypoallergenic face paints and glitters suitable for children.

We recommend booking 2–4 months in advance, especially for large corporate events, councils, shopping centres, or festivals. The earlier you book, the better your chances of securing your preferred date, performers, and entertainment options.

Yes. For larger events, we can provide multiple performers, roaming characters, stage shows, and activity stations such as face painting, glitter, or giant bubbles. This ensures guests stay engaged throughout the event and helps manage large crowds.

Stage shows are designed for children aged 0–12, while roaming performers, glitter activities, face painting, and giant bubbles can be enjoyed by children and adults. Our entertainment is inclusive and works for diverse cultural and linguistic audiences.

Yes! We offer corporate glitter activities, giant bubble experiences, and face painting. These experiences are popular at festivals, family days, and shopping centre activations.

Yes. For high-attendance events, we recommend multiple stations or additional artists to reduce wait times and keep all guests engaged.
Technical Requirements

Yes. If no other performances are scheduled, we can provide professional speakers and microphones. These are used exclusively by our team for the duration of the performance.
We do not provide lighting equipment. -
A raised stage is ideal, but we can adapt to a roped-off performance area. We recommend:
Space in front of the stage for audience interaction
Viewing area for families
Optional backdrop for photos
Our team works closely with event managers to ensure smooth flow between activities.
Event Logistics

Performers arrive ahead of time for event briefings and setup for stage shows or activity stations. Roaming performers will begin interacting with guests at their scheduled start time.

Yes. We regularly collaborate with councils, event planners, and production teams to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly.
Weather & Outdoor Events

For outdoor events, it is the organiser’s responsibility to arrange a backup venue if rain or temperatures exceed 32°C.
If severe weather makes it unsafe to proceed, we will work with you to reschedule the event.
If less than 72 hours’ notice is given, full charges may still apply.
Rescheduled events must take place within one year of the original booking.
